What Brexit means for GDPR & Non-UK Businesses

November 17 @ 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Free

By the end of 2020 the Brexit transition period will have ended, which means a new era for the UK from 1st January 2021. GDPR and it’s applicability to the UK will also be changing – exactly how will depend on where in the world you are and the UK’s own data protection regime.

Join me for this free webinar, where I’ll be looking at just what the end of the Brexit transition will mean for any non-UK businesses processing data or targeting UK citizens from 2021. We’ll be covering:

  • Introduction to GDPR and international data transfers
  • What Brexit means for GDPR in the UK
  • What Brexit means for businesses processing data in the UK, post-transition
  • What Brexit means for businesses targeting UK individuals, post-transition
  • Q&A

Please note: This webinar is being run via Zoom. You will be sent Zoom details a day or so ahead of the webinar. We will be recording the presentation part of the session and sending around a copy of the recording and slides, so please be mindful of your surroundings, your use of Zoom and your Zoom settings when joining the webinar (although only the presentation part of the webinar will be distributed or used in the future by Mark Gracey GDPR). If you have any concerns or questions about this, please get in touch.
